Beaufort,SC

We left Sam's Point about 7am. We had a beautiful pink sky. Shay went out to take a picture and said he heard a loud buzzing noise. He looked up and saw Southern Star's drone. Robby said the sky was so beautiful he just had to get his toy out and get some pictures. We'll post some when we figure out how to use that format.

And thanks to Robbie here's Escape in the beautiful sunrise.
We had a short day since we were only going to Beaufort. We got there about 9am. We had traveled 11.88nm at 5.4kts.
These boats were anchored in the channel leading to Lady's Island Marina, but Matthew repositioned them.

Our trip
We keep talking about the tides and how much the water goes up and down. These pictures show how things change twice a day.
The water goes down
And then it comes back up.
We are near a "super moon". Meaning the moon is closer than usual. This causes higher than normal tides. It doesn't look like it would take much more tide to send the water over the dock.

We had a great time at Beaufort. We went out for long walks around the beautiful city and had some great meals. But time to head farther south. It is getting cold.
