Vernon River

We left Savannah heading to the Vernon River. We have some shallow areas today, but we should have no problem, since we plan to go thru them at high tide.

We had another great breakfast at the Hyatt and then left about 9am. We are going thru a shortcut from the Savannah River to the ICW. SeaSalt and Southern Star are not following us. See you later guys!

Good-bye Savannah
I love the window over the porch.

We had no problems traveling today and got to our anchorage about 1pm. We are staging here so we will be able to pass thru Hell Gate at high tide tomorrow.

We traveled 4hrs at 5.8kts and went 22.96nm. Another good short day. Sometimes it better to have some short days so you can stage problem areas better.

Another guy dropping anchor. I don't have a picture, but my guy drops anchor too.
Not much to see at this anchorage

You can see how far we traveled from Savannah
